Rhododendron Pontiyak

A compact rhododendron with a rounded habit. Flowering in October-November with delicate pink flowers forming flat, small trusses. The foliage has slight indumentum. 

What is Indumentum, you ask?   Indumentum in rhododendrons is a woolly or velvety layer of hairs on the underside of the leaves that provides protection from sun, heat, cold, and moisture loss.
