CJ’s Terms of Service
Welcome to CJ’s Plant Farm! By using our website, shopping online, or visiting our nursery, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them simple — because no one likes fine print.
1. Who we are
CJ’s Plant Farm is a family-run nursery based in Amberley, North Canterbury. We sell plants, gardening products, and gift vouchers through our retail store and online shop.
2. Using our website
You’re welcome to browse, shop, and read our planting advice. Please don’t copy, reuse, or distribute our content or photos without asking first — we work hard to create them.
3. Orders and payments
All prices are shown in NZD and include GST.
Payment must be made in full at checkout before your order is confirmed.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if an item is out of stock or priced incorrectly — but we’ll always contact you first to sort it out.
4. Shipping and collection
We currently ship within New Zealand only.
Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on location and order size — you’ll see these at checkout.
Click-and-collect orders can be picked up from our nursery once you receive a ready-for-pickup email.
5. Returns and refunds
Plants are living things, and sometimes they don’t thrive.
If your plants arrive damaged or unhealthy, contact us within 48 hours of receiving them with photos, and we’ll work with you to make it right.
We don’t accept returns for change of mind or poor aftercare.
6. Gift cards and promotions
CJ’s gift cards do not expire and can be used online or in-store.
Promotions and discount codes can’t be combined unless we say otherwise. All plants in our Craparea are heavily discounted and will not have discounts applied. Plants in craparea are not eligible to gain loyalty credits.
7. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Your details are only used to process your order, communicate with you, or send you our newsletter (if you’ve signed up).
We don’t sell or share your information with anyone else.

8. Liability
We do our best to provide healthy plants and accurate advice, but we can’t guarantee how a plant will perform once it leaves our nursery.
We’re not responsible for losses caused by factors beyond our control (like weather, soil, or curious pets).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
