At CJ's we don't bake in freight costs into our pricing, we simply charge you what we get charged to ship your lovely plants to you. That sounds simple however there are a number of different factors that will determine freight costs and trust us it's almost as complicated as cracking the Enigma code.
Location, Location, Location - The closer you are to us the cheaper it's going to be.
Size / weight - the pot size, height of the plant and weight of the plant play a huge factor into freight costs.
Ferry crossing - If the plant has to cross the cook strait then it's going to cost more
If it can fit into a box, we use NZ post - the cost will be calculated at the check out. Our main priority is that our plants arrive in a thriving condition, so we have partnered with freight companies we can trust to look after the lovely plants during their journey.
Our advice, make sure you maximise the cost of freight. Fill the box to make sure you are getting the most out of it.
Special notes for our North Island pals
As the plants have to cross the cook strait we don't take any risks when it comes to shipping. We have a flat rate which covers a whole pallet being sent, if you can't fill the pallet, then ask your mates and share cost and glory!!
