Pot Size/Grade

Nandina domestica ‘Firepower’, commonly known as Heavenly Bamboo Firepower, is a compact evergreen shrub prized for its spectacular foliage colour and incredibly low-maintenance nature. Unlike taller nandina varieties, this dwarf form stays naturally neat and rounded, making it ideal for borders, mass planting, containers and modern garden designs.

Throughout the year, the soft green foliage transforms with the seasons, developing vibrant shades of fiery red, orange and burgundy during autumn and winter. This dramatic colour display makes Nandina domestica Heavenly Bamboo one of the best foliage plants for adding year-round interest and contrast to the garden.

Compact, hardy and adaptable, ‘Firepower’ performs beautifully in New Zealand gardens and requires very little upkeep once established. Whether planted individually, used to line pathways or grouped for impact, this colourful shrub delivers season-long performance with minimal effort.
