Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegata', commonly known as Variegated Chinese Silver Grass, is a striking ornamental grass prized for its graceful arching foliage, beautifully striped green and cream leaves, and elegant feathery flower plumes. Its variegated foliage brightens the garden from spring through autumn, while the soft silvery-pink flower heads provide movement and texture from late summer into winter.

Forming a large, fountain-like clump, Variegata is an outstanding feature plant for mixed borders, contemporary landscapes, cottage gardens and beside ponds. Even after the foliage dies back, the dried flower plumes remain attractive throughout winter, adding structure and seasonal interest.
