Bergenia Bressingham Ruby

Bergenia 'Bressingham Ruby' is a tough evergreen perennial grown for its bold, leathery foliage, rich ruby-red winter colour and vibrant pink spring flowers.

Throughout the warmer months, it forms a dense clump of large, rounded green leaves. As temperatures drop, the foliage develops increasingly rich shades of burgundy, ruby-red and bronze-purple, giving the garden valuable colour right through the colder months.

Then spring arrives and sturdy stems rise above the foliage carrying clusters of bright magenta-pink flowers.

Hardy, frost tolerant and relatively unfussy, Bressingham Ruby is excellent for garden borders, mass planting, edging, woodland-style gardens and difficult partly shaded areas.
