Verbena ridgata

Bright purple flowers on branched stems in late summer. This is a smaller cultivar of verbena bonariensis.  It is very good value in the garden flowering non stop until the end of autumn.  Its purple flowers attract bees and butterflies. It is an easy care plant and makes an excellent container plant.
